Flat rack containers are used for the transport of goods that fall outside the standard container dimensions. Such cargo is commonly referred to as "Out of Gauge". Cargo loaded on a Flat Rack may have excess height, and may be either over-wide or over-long. (Not both wide as well as long, as the container can't be lifted in such a case).
