IBC stands for Intermediate Bulk Container. This type of container is used as a hybrid form between drums and bulk transport. IBC's allow manipulation with forklift or pallet trucks, but are too large to be handled by hand. IBC's consist of 3 parts, 1, A thermoplastic (HDPE) inner inclusion with a lid on top and discharge tap below surrounded by 2, a metal grid. This unit is mounted on 3, a wooden, synthetic or metal pallet.
